To recognize youth that engage in service to others, strive for academic achievement and exemplify positive character.
MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
Our youth deserve opportunities that will position them to reach their fullest potential. It is my hope that the Reverend Dr. Raymond C. and Linda Caliman Academic Scholarship established in my parent’s honor will be a contribution in that endeavor. This scholarship initiative is my way of giving back to my childhood community of Rockland County, NY.
Our mission is intended to shine a light on youth that have worked diligently towards academic success, engage in community service while representing positive choices and contributions in their school and community.
I am inspired by my educational journey that holds fond memories of school, youth programs that fostered my growth along with parents that always provided meaningful learning experiences and excursions when at home.
I am so grateful for my committee that is steadfast in developing resources to award those pursuing a college education. Thank you for your support.
